My Life Be Like...

Some people meet the way the sky meets the earth, inevitably, and there is no stopping or holding back their love. It exists in a finished world, beyond the reach of common sense.

Our life is composed greatly from dreams, from the unconscious, and they must be brought into connection with action. They must be woven together.

Things end. People leave. And you know what? Life goes on. Besides, if bad things didn’t happen, how would you be able to feel the good ones?

While you’re sitting around thinking about what you can’t change, and worrying about all the wrong things, time’s flying by, moving so fast. You better make it count ‘cause you can’t get it back. Sometimes that mountain you’ve been climbing is just a grain of sand.

I don’t know why terrible things happen to us sometimes, but I have to believe that something good will come out of this.

When I say it’s you I like, I’m talking about that part of you that knows that life is far more than anything you can ever see or hear or touch. That deep part of you that allows you to stand for those things without which humankind cannot survive. Love that conquers hate, peace that rises triumphant over war, and justice that proves more powerful than greed.
